What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
Being able to put myself in the other person's shoes, thus being able to help and care for residents much more easily. I smile a lot and always have a positive attitude in life and especially at work. I talk to the residents about everyday things and also happenings in my life and ask them what they did in life. I also treat the other employees with respect yet I am able to motivate them to do a good nursing job, professionally and honestly with a caring attitude.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Being able to return to nursing after several years lapse of active nursing and for it to come back easily and to be able to pass the refresher course from the state in three months even though I was always an average student. Being able to help administrators and directors of nursing and assist them in their jobs. I was the acting director of nursing for 3 months between hiring a new director of nursing
