What do you feel separates you from the rest of the professionals in your industry?:
Her passion for her unique crystalline and raku pottery is what separates her from her peers. Ms. Blair likes to have multiple glazes on her pottery, so when she opens her kiln, she sees a variety of color and knows what to reproduce and what not to. She doesn't cast any of her pottery on tiles, however; it is always on pots, because she believes that seeing the glazes on a pot is a more valuable assessment of overall appearance.
What has been the most outstanding thing you have done thus far in your career?:
Ms. Blair, has, as of now, achieved what she set out to do, which was to graduate with a degree in ceramics from Kansas University. Her next goal is to sell her work and be recognized for what she does.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
She would like to be remembered by her peers as an energetic woman who loved to have her "hands in the mud."
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
She would get all the homeless children off the street and into loving homes.

She became involved in her profession because of her interest in pottery.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Blair has recently been invited to , Brazil, to conduct a 7 workshop in San Paolo, Brazil from June 15, 2016-June 22, 2016; Ms. Blair was personally selected to participate in a crystalline workshop given by the Australian, world-renowned crystalline potter, Bill Powell, in Dunedin, Florida on March 15 and 16, 2014. She was one out of only 25 professionals who were personally invited to attend by Mr. Powell. In 2015, Ms. Blair attended a workshop given by another world-renowned master crystalline potter, Ted Secombe, in Australia. He personally invited her to attend his workshop in Australia, which went from Nov. 20, 2015 to Dec. 22, 2015. Her talent was then noticed by Jose Maria Mariscal from Spain, who invited her to attend his workshop in Spain from Feb. 20, 2016 to March 2, 2016. Additionally, Ms. Blair attended a crystalline workshop given by Fara Shinbo in Hygiene, CO, where she learned new methods of etching crystalline glazes with either muriatic acid, lemon juice or vinegar. They also did an alcoholic reduction crystalline fire.

Prior to her current profession, Ms. Blair worked in nurseries for 30 years.
