The highlight of his career was being chosen by Judge Carl Barbier to be a member of the Plaintiff Steering Committee in the largest single civil litigation lawsuit in the history of American jurisprudence. He became co-lead trial lawyer and tried the liability of BP Transocean and Halliburton. He represented approximately 700 commercial divers, as well as commercial fishermen, crabbers, deckhands, property owners, small- and large-business owners, and oil and gas industry entities who sustained damages as a result of the deep water horizon incident. He is extremely proud of that. Being able to put the whole team together, get the case ready for trial, and be one of the lead trail lawyers in the court room was very rewarding.

He attributes his success to enjoying what he does and putting in the time required, as well as his hard work and consistent preparation.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because it was a natural progression. He initially started his career as a chemistry major at Tulane University, but found that he really did not like the coursework. He decided to take a political science class to see if he liked it, and found that he thoroughly did, so he graduated with an undergraduate degree in political science.
